Logic Pro X is an all round monster of an application. The latest version has been enhanced with a companion iPad app, Virtual Drummer (a drummer that intelligently plays along to your compositions) and Flex Pitch which provides integrated pitch editing. If you're a Garageband fan, Logic Pro X is also integrated with GarageBand meaning you can import projects into it instantly. In total, there are over 1500 sampled instruments or effects to choose plus 3,600 Apple Loops in different genres to give you a base to build from.
In addition, there are over a hunfred effects including reverbs, delays, EQs, dynamics, amps and stompboxes.
Specifically, there are over one thousand different built-in instruments or samples including synths, vintage keyboards, a drum machine and sampler.
